DevOps Engineer

Qube Research & Technologies (QRT) is a global quantitative and systematic investment manager seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain the infrastructure that powers our quantitative research and trading platforms. The role will be based in Hong Kong and involve working with developers and quantitative researchers to ensure seamless CI/CD pipelines, robust automation, and scalable deployment strategies.

Requirements

• Strong experience in CI/CD pipeline development and deployment automation
• Proficiency with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Deep knowledge of Python and C++ development environments
• Experience with C++ build systems (e.g., CMake, Bazel, Conan)
• Familiarity with package management for Python and C++
• Strong background in AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda and networking components
• Hands-on experience managing on-premises production systems, ensuring high availability and scalability
• Proficiency in monitoring, logging, and security best practices for cloud and on-prem environments
• Excellent English communication skills
• Ability to document workflows, troubleshoot issues, and provide clear technical explanations
• A proactive mindset, capable of driving process improvements and automation initiatives
