Job Description
Qube Research & Technologies (QRT) is seeking an Infrastructure Support Engineer to design, maintain, and secure their cloud infrastructure. The role involves working closely with development teams, DevOps, and system administrators to ensure seamless cloud functionality. This position focuses on enhancing the quantitative research and modelling processes of the desk with automation scripts, monitoring, and optimization.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect or Engineer with a strong focus on AWS technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash).
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform).
- Experience with containers and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker, ECS, Kubernetes).
- Experience with monitoring and performance tuning in cloud environments.
