Kubernetes Platform Engineer

Qube Research & Technologies (QRT) is seeking experienced Kubernetes Engineers to support cloud and on-premise container orchestration platforms. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters, ensuring stability, scalability, and security, while collaborating with teams to improve pipeline and operational reliability. This position contributes to building a high-quality investment platform.

Requirements

• Help design and lead the implementation of Kubernetes clusters (on-prem and/or cloud)
• Offer Kubernetes as a product to internal teams by delivering self-service capabilities
• Build reusable platform patterns and deployment blueprints using Helm, Kustomize, or custom controllers
• Develop and maintain platform-aware GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD, Flux, and GitLab CI
• Design tenancy-aware RBAC, network policies, and secrets management
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals
• Apply policy-as-code via admission controllers (OPA/Gatekeeper)
• Implement observability stacks to monitor cluster health and security
• Manage and support Kubernetes clusters across production, staging, and development environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, container, and networking issues
• Participate in on-call rotation
• Demonstrable knowledge of Python, Golang or similar languages
• Stay informed on industry trends
