Job Description
Qube Research & Technologies is seeking a Software Optimization and HPC Application Engineer to support education and enablement teams across Research and Trading engineering. The role involves educating researchers and developers on best practices in HPC, optimizing CPU/GPU utilization, and evaluating emerging technologies. It will contribute to internal training resources and assess HPC/Cloud technologies for research. QRT is an equal opportunity employer focused on innovation and employee well-being.
Requirements
- Strong development skills in C++, Python, and CUDA
- Deep knowledge of Linux systems, NUMA, and parallel processing principles
- Familiarity with HPC and cloud storage systems (e.g. NVMe, Vast)
- Experience with profiling tools (e.g. Vtune, gprof, Valgrind, Nsight, RGP)
- Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks (e.g. MPI, Ray) and orchestration tools (e.g. Slurm, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of hardware subsystems including CPUs, GPUs, NICs, and schedulers
- Strong communicator with an interest in technical education and system performance
