Panel Tech II

qubeworX is seeking an experienced Panel Tech II to join their growing team. This role involves the assembly of electrical control panels, interpreting control panel layouts, wiring electrical components, and installing panels into enclosures. The technician will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to safety standards and company policies.

Requirements

• Read drawings to establish correct wiring/cable runs.
• Communicate with peers and Team Leader regarding changes.
• Run wires point to point from component to component and to termination.
• Perform wire labeling at connection points.
• Use provided drawings to layout wireways/din rail and components on back panels and enclosures.
• Route and bundle wires neatly to meet company and UL standards.
• Perform point to point wiring, including relays, controls, PLCs, I/O Modules, VFDs, Interfaces, and instrumentation.
• Understand electrical circuitry including power distribution, motor controls, AC/DC high voltage, AC/DC low voltage, relay logic and emergency stops.
• Understand wiring and operation of electrical components including PLCs, VFDs, transformers, power supplies, safety relays, control relays, pilot devices, pushbutton/selector switches, circuit breakers, fuses, phase monitors, contactors and overload relays.
