The Director of Global Production Platform will lead the development and implementation of platform strategies, working with internal and external customers to gather requirements and feedback. The role will represent production and client stakeholders in development meetings, work with internal development product owners, and take the lead in technology deployment within Production.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 3 years of responsible leadership experience in management or supervisory positions
- Minimum 5 years’ specific to language services with progressively increasing responsibility in respective field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working operationally with CAT tool(s), or proven ability to work in a CAT tool
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with machine translation engines, including ability to evaluate effectiveness and deploy as part of the global platform
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working alongside development and product management to define, develop and deploy internal technology solutions
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an admin role for a project management system, ideally a translation management system
- Proficiency in business intelligence (BI) reporting and usage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proven work experience in product management
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product through its lifecycle
- Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, using professional tone and language; tactful and diplomatic with a clear, straightforward, courteous, and cooperative manner when dealing with others
- Detail-oriented, organized, thorough, and accurate, with the ability to work quickly and steadily in a focused manner
- Ability to deal with frequent changes, delays, interruptions, and unexpected events
- Possesses initiative, persistence, ability to problem solve, and enthusiasm for learning
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making abilities

- Fluent in English
- Fluency in a second language, other than English, a plus
