Job Description
This IT Security Officer role involves monitoring the organization's networks for security breaches, protecting sensitive information, researching IT security trends, and developing security standards. Responsibilities also include helping users with IT solutions and contributing to SOC 2 certifications and regular reports. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Experience in risk, compliance and information security policy development.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (oral and written).
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication ability.
- Knowledge of IT processes and controls (CoBIT, ISO, NIST, ITIL, PCI).
- General knowledge of information security regulatory requirements.
