Composite Technician I

R&P Technologies is looking for a Marine Composite technician level I to fill a full-time position undertaking a variety of tasks relating to assisting with the installation, repair and troubleshooting of composite lamination and lay up onboard US Navy ships in Pascagoula, MS. Candidates must be responsible individuals with great attention to safety precautions.

Requirements

• Undergo composite certification and qualification training
• Execute composite / installation trade repairs and modifications to shipboard composite structures
• Report daily progress updates to your supervisor or lead
• Adhere to all safety precautions associated with composite material handling and use
• Maintain quality standards associated with composite repair and installation
• Work shipboard availabilities with a small crew
• Willingness to travel to various locations in support of ship maintenance availabilities
