Job Description
R&P is seeking an experienced Marine Electrical Technician II to perform a variety of electrical and electronic installation, repair, and troubleshooting tasks onboard Navy ships in Norfolk, VA. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, connectors, and equipment, requiring a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety precautions. This position is high-risk and demands a first-class attitude and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Coordinate and execute plans of electrical installations.
- Install electrical components and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and repair damaged equipment.
- Install and tag copper cables.
- Familiar with basic computer skills.
- Understanding of basic MS-Office programs.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
