Electrical Technician III

R&P Technologies is looking for an experienced Marine Electrician III with good technical skills and waterfront knowledge to work under the supervision of a Lead Technician Level IV. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing plans of electrical installations, providing training to junior personnel, and ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be a Marine Electrician with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience working in ship repair onboard US Navy ships
• Must have experience with and demonstrate proficiency with multi-pin copper connectors of cables per Navy Standard Item 009-73 (MIL-STD-2003-5)
• Must be familiar with NAVY Standard Items
• Ability to read, understand and follow customer work item requirements, drawings, and wiring diagrams
