Director, Strategic Communications

Raben, a public policy, strategic communications and organizational consulting firm, is seeking a Director, Strategic Communications to support their client teams and offer excellent client services. The role involves building relationships with Black media, developing and implementing strategies, managing projects, and contributing to business development. Requirements

• 6+ years experience in communications or public relations
• Strong media relations experience
• Exeperience and relationships with Black media
• Experience overseeing or executing social media campaigns
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Collaborative and relationship-building mindset
• Ability to produce clear, concise, and compelling written collateral
• Ability to manage shifting priorities under tight deadlines
• Demonstrable project management skills
