Job Description
Rackner is seeking a Software Engineer to join their military healthcare consulting team. The role involves building secure APIs, scalable data pipelines, and cloud-native services to modernize military healthcare systems. This is a hybrid position offering flexible work arrangements and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering (backend, API, or full-stack)
- Proficient in Python, Java, or C#
- Experienced with REST APIs (FastAPI, AWS Lambda) and OpenAPI specifications
- Skilled in data pipeline orchestration (dbt, Apache Airflow, Apache Spark, Iceberg)
- Knowledgeable in federal compliance frameworks (NIST 800-53, HIPAA, FISMA High)
- Active DoD Secret Clearance (or higher)
