Job Description
Radiant is seeking a highly motivated nuclear engineer to develop nuclear engineering solutions for their Kaleidos microreactor, a 1-megawatt failsafe microreactor for applications like hospital power and asset support. The company is on track to launch its first reactor and start building customer deliveries in 2028. Radiant utilizes modern software engineering to rapidly deploy safe, factory-built microreactors.
Requirements
- Ownership of Nuclear design and analysis
- Experience with radiation transport methods, including with codes such as MCNP/OpenMC/Serpent
- Proficiency in Python, C++, C#, FORTRAN, or another scientific computing language
- Basic knowledge of thermal hydraulic principles
- Self-motivated with strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
