Regulatory Engineer

Radiant is a startup building a portable, nuclear microreactor. They are seeking a Regulatory Systems Engineer to support the application approval process with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. The role involves understanding regulations, integrating design with testing, and providing clarity to stakeholders. The focus is on moving the project forward quickly and safely, optimizing regulatory strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (nuclear engineering, mechanical, electrical, computer, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience certifying, regulating, qualifying or auditing hardware
• Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation abilities
• Applied understanding of requirement derivation and verification
• 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment with strict regulatory oversight
