Requirements
- Plan and design portions of projects of greater complexity, following appropriate design, engineering codes, government and third-party standards using engineering principles in conjunction and in concert with design staff.
- Analyze, develop and interpret reports, drawings, analytical data, and other data required for planning and design projects related to Wastewater Treatment.
- Review and determine regulatory requirements (local, State, Federal) that would be applicable to the assignment
- Prepare and at times present reports or analysis such as design calculations, field data results/conclusions and/or cost estimates.
- Communicate directly with external stakeholders (e.g., vendors, subcontractors, contractors, regulators, etc.).
- Support preparation of proposals and fee estimates.
- Train and mentor early career employees.
- Utilize an advanced understanding of engineering fundamentals and proficiency with relevant computer software packages and engineering and design techniques specific to Wastewater Treatment and hydraulic engineering
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Work effectively in teams comprised of professionals with diverse skill sets, including engineers from other disciplines, scientists and subcontracted professionals.
- Troubleshooting and proactive problem solving for field assignments in accordance with project control documents and field guidance documents.
