Job Description
The Pastry Cook is responsible for preparing and planning sweet items, pastries, cakes, ice creams, sorbets, fruit compotes, breads and chocolates for breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with special items for amenities and events. They maintain quality standards, understand menus, and assist other employees. A commitment to teamwork and flexible performance is expected.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Culinary school graduate with 1-2 years pastry experience or 3-4 years pastry work experience
- Ability to communicate in English
- Current and up-to-date Food Handler's Card
- Flexible scheduling (3rd shift if needed)
- Own cooking tools
