Requirements
- Provide legal advice and guidance to the Board, CEO, and management
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements
- Manage disputes, litigation, and external counsel effectively
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Develop and maintain internal policies, procedures, and frameworks for legal risk management
- Act as Company Secretary to the Board and its committees
- Organize and manage Board, Committee, and shareholders’ meetings
- Maintain statutory registers, corporate records, and ensure timely filings with regulatory bodies
- Lead, mentor, and develop the legal & cosec team
- Manage external counsel and corporate secretarial service providers
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Compliance, Risk, and Operations
