Job Description
Mindsight is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join a rapidly growing team focused on enhancing evolution through innovative solutions and creating opportunities for growth. The role involves developing scalable backend solutions to support data analysis and decision-making, with a focus on sustainability and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of Ruby on Rails and backend development
- Understanding of software architecture, APIs, and event-oriented architecture
- Practice in good engineering practices (SOLID principles, design patterns)
- Knowledge of transactional databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Experience with observability tools (Datadog)
- Experience in platform and support teams, or migration of complex systems
- Knowledge of messaging technologies (Kafka, Pub/Sub)
- Experience with event-driven architecture
- Knowledge of other programming languages (Python, Go, Java, Node.js)
