Job Description
Fikst, LLC, a Re:Build Manufacturing, LLC (Re:Build) company, is seeking a Principal Embedded Firmware Engineer to drive the development and implementation of embedded software solutions for client projects. The role involves leading a team, providing technical leadership, and pioneering best practices within the firmware development lifecycle. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive experience in embedded firmware engineering
- Expertise in C and C++
- Deep problem-solving skills
- Strong background in electrical systems development
- Experience developing device drivers in embedded Linux
- Proven ability to lead projects and understand agile methodologies
- BS in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or related field
- Knowledge of regulatory standards
