We are looking for a skilled Cloud Administrator to manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, optimize systems, automate workflows, and ensure mission-critical applications run seamlessly. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience administering and supporting AWS cloud environments, strong knowledge of AWS services, and experience with automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience administering and supporting AWS cloud environments
- Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, ECS, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation
- Experience with automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation and system administration tasks
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, load balancing, firewalls, routing)
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows in collaboration with development teams
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and making recommendations or changes to optimize the cloud environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on minimizing downtime
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English, with the ability to work cross-functionally with IT, DevOps, and development teams and with a focus on clarity, collaboration, and customer service
