Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a welding program or proven experience as a certified welder
• Welding certifications (e.g., AWS certifications) for specific processes or materials
• Proficiency in multiple welding techniques
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
• Strong understanding of metallurgy and material properties
• Knowledge of safety procedures in welding
• Physical dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work in various positions
