Principal Engineer, Android Performance

Reddit is a community of communities where users share and discuss topics they care about. The Android Platform team sets the technical direction for Android at Reddit, and this role will enable the company to architect its Android app to scale for 100M+ daily active users.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Software development experience
• 5+ years in designing/developing Android applications
• Experience in influencing larger organizations on technical direction/best practices related to Android
• Experience with modern Android development frameworks such as Jetpack Compose and Kotlin coroutines
• Passion for developing scalable, well-designed software
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
