Job Description
Reddit is seeking a Senior Android Engineer, Apps Platform to join its Performance team. This role focuses on improving developer efficiency through building libraries, APIs, and frameworks, monitoring performance, and enhancing build tools. The engineer will be responsible for innovating new processes and improving scalability as the team grows. They will build on top of the Reddit app, focusing on improving core flows like browsing, commenting, and content creation.
Requirements
- Expertise in Java or Kotlin with 5+ years of experience within Android development.
- Sound software engineering fundamentals.
- Embracing the challenges of building data intensive, highly responsive, and fault tolerant apps in a smartphone.
