Job Description
Reddit is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their GraphQL team, developing foundational infrastructure for the community platform. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining the GraphQL architecture, contributing to the technical and strategic direction, and mentoring other engineers. Reddit is building a large community of users passionate about their interests, and is focused on expanding its infrastructure to support a growing user base.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale distributed backend systems.
- Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages (preferably Go).
- Experience identifying and driving high impact projects aligned with the company's strategy.
- Capability with essential cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS, GCP).
- High empathy and excellent communication skills.
