Job Description
Child Development Center Teacher Position. Provide a nurturing, inclusive educational program for preschool children. Supervise children, families, and staff in a warm, positive, and professional manner.
Requirements
- Provide teacher guided and child initiated learning experiences
- Set up and maintain indoor and outdoor environment
- Conduct child screenings/developmental assessments and document observations
- Develop Individual goals for all children
- Identify special needs of children and secure assistance
- Maintain professional competence through participation in in-service education activities
- Perform basic attendance, accounting and business services
- Collaborate with Kindergarten teachers to plan Kindergarten Transition Events
- Prepare and implement a weekly Lesson Plan
- Monitor and document the progress of each child
- Keep and maintain required records
