Transitional Kinder (TK) Teacher (Spanish/English Bilingual Required) *2026-2027 School Year

Redwood City School District seeks a Transitional Kinder (TK) Teacher to provide an educational program and environment that promotes learning and personal growth for transitional kindergarten students in a self-contained classroom. The ideal candidate will have a strong connection with students, families, and community, and share a vision for a safe and supportive, inspirational and rigorous, joyful and inclusive environment for all learners.

Requirements

• Possesses a Bachelors degree.
• At least 24 units in early childhood education, or childhood development, or both.
• Professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool age children comparable to the 24 units of education described in bullet 1 (comparability determined by the local employing agency)
• Child Development Teacher Permit issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing
• At least 12 units in early childhood education, or childhood development, or both + 1 year of Professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool age children comparable to the 12 units of education described in bullet 1 (comparability determined by the local employing agency)
