Direct Support Professional-Simi Valley

Redwood Family Care Network is hiring compassionate Direct Support Professionals to support and care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Direct Support Professional promotes the health, safety and well-being of residents and serves as an advocate for our clients.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of professional or personal experience in caregiving (Preferred experience in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illnesses with challenging behaviors)
• Direct Support Professional Certificate Year 1 & Year 2 and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention (Preferred or willing to obtain within the first 6 months of hire)
• First Aid / CPR (Preferred or willing to obtain within 30 days of employment)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a California Driver’s License
