Redwood Materials, founded by JB Straubel, is developing a circular supply chain to reduce the environmental impact and cost of lithium-ion batteries and electric vehicles. The Nevada-based company offers large-scale, sustainable battery materials produced domestically for the first time. With facilities in Northern Nevada and South Carolina, Redwood aims to scale production to 100 GWh annually by recycling, refining, and manufacturing battery materials.
