Job Description
The Buyer/Planner will be responsible for the purchasing, planning and inventory control in their assigned product line(s).
Requirements
- Day-to-day PO placement and maintenance
- Aligning materials to meet the production schedule
- Implementing a forward planning process to minimize purchase part shortages
- Leading calls with key suppliers
- Supporting sourcing of new parts and PPV/VAVE efforts
- Leading projects in their areas as designated by the Materials Manager
