Job Description
Relativity Space is seeking a Senior Propulsion Design Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on the development of Aeon-R engines, working closely with other teams to ensure successful production and use of the rocket. The position requires a proactive individual comfortable with ambiguity and capable of managing projects independently. Relativity Space is early in the journey to commercial space, bringing tangible products and a culture of impact.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional design experience
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field
- Experience with computer aided design (CAD) software
- Experience with mechanical design
- Experience applying fluid, thermal, and structural fundamentals
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and commercial tools
- Experience with large CAD model management, change management, and configuration management
