Lead Components Engineer

Relativity Space is seeking a Lead Components Engineer to join their Stage Fluids team. This role involves leading a team of engineers in the design, development, testing, and production of fluid systems for rockets, contributing to a holistic view of Terran R from front to back. The role is collaborative, involves hands-on work, and allows for significant impact on the company's success. It's a unique opportunity to work on-site and shape the product from the ground up.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field
• 5+ years of experience in fluid control devices, valves and/or mechanisms design and analysis
• Proven leadership experience
• Experience applying engineering fundamentals in thermodynamics, structures, and fluids
• Hands-on experience with fluids and structural development testing and manufacturing
• Experience with ownership of projects
• Experience with leading projects or small teams
