Senior Manufacturing Engineer, CNC Machining

Relativity Space is building rockets for commercial applications, including a launch vehicle for orbit. They are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to own the build of the Terran R vehicle's primary structures and improve processes in a collaborative environment. The role involves problem-solving, manufacturing automation, and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, aeronautical, mechanical engineering, or other engineering discipline
• 5+ years of progressive experience
• 3D & 2D design/drafting skills (Per ASME Y14.5M, NX preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal skills for process understanding and design input
• Experience with CNC milling/turning across multiple materials
• Strong engineering fundamentals (statics, mechanics of materials, process improvement)
• Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
