Staff Materials & Processes Engineer, Turbomachinery

Relativity Space is building rockets to achieve commercial success in space exploration and is seeking a Staff Materials & Processes Engineer to own reusable Liquid Propulsion Turbomachinery Products, Materials Systems, and Disciplines. The role involves material qualification, specification development, experimental design, and collaboration across engineering teams to ensure reliable and reusable turbomachinery components.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in materials science or engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of relevant turbomachinery materials experience
• Experience with general propulsion hardware M&P activities
• Experience with material and part qualification for AM laser powder bed fusion systems or traditional material forming
