Job Description
Relevance AI is looking for a Design Engineer on Design Systems to own and evolve their component library, architect tokens, theming, variants, and accessibility into the foundation of every product surface, and design and scale the system architecture end-to-end.
Requirements
- 4+ years in frontend engineering
- Meaningful experience building, scaling, or owning a design system in a complex product environment
- Deep expertise in component architecture using modern frameworks
- Strong command of HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and scalable styling strategies
- Proven ability to design clean, extensible component APIs
- Experience managing versioning, deprecations, migrations, and system governance across multiple product teams
- Strong UI craft bar
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment
- Actively leverage AI tools in your workflow
