At Remitly, we're looking for a Senior Privacy Program Manager-Technical to join our team and help us build new experiences for our customers and employees. The role involves leading privacy and regulatory programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of privacy across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field
- 5+ years of program management in tech
- Experience in FinTech/payments or similarly regulated, global environments
- Knowledge of global privacy regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other global and domestic data protection laws
- 5+ years working directly with software engineering teams
- High level understanding of technical architecture and common architectural patterns
- Experience managing and delivering complex, cross-functional regulatory projects
- Ability to apply structured analytical methods to break down complex technical problems
- Data fluency and experience operationalizing and managing global privacy requirements
