Development Machinist

We are currently recruiting for a number of CNC machinists within Low Volume Manufacturing working a 3 shift pattern. The purpose of the role is to provide additional programming, setting and operating resource to support the increased production demand of specials and low volume production parts.

Requirements

• Setting / Operating CNC machines (Milling or Turning) to the standard set and run times
• Interpreting drawings and using initiative in deciding tooling selection and the method of manufacture
• Monitoring the quality of components using a wide range of equipment including CMM inspection and complete departmental quality documentation
• Generating new component part programmes with the aid of Gibbs CAM programming software and subsequent prove out of new processes
