Job Description
ResMed is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers and develop a next-generation healthcare informatics platform. The role involves hands-on coding, managing and coaching a team, and delivering high-quality software designs.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Experience as an Engineering Manager with ownership of issues and collaboration with team members and cross-functional groups
- Experience leading a software development team through multiple product/platform releases
- Experience making significant individual contributions as a Senior Engineer to real-world software development
- Experience building APIs using Java and SpringBoot
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and event streaming platforms like Kafka
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS or another cloud provider
- Experience development and delivery at a large scale
- Experience building scalable, available, and low-latency cloud-native systems
- Experience using AI to solve operational and business problems
- Experience in using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot
