Senior Buyer

The Senior Buyer is responsible for strategic sourcing, procurement, and cost management of materials, components, and services for medical devices and precision assemblies. The role requires close collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Production, Planning, R&D, and Finance to ensure an efficient, compliant, and cost-effective supply chain.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Procurement, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement roles (medical device or precision manufacturing industry- advantage)
• Experience managing or mentoring purchasing staff.
• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated expertise to conduct market research, cost analysis, and supplier evaluations.
• Expertise in BOM pricing analysis, cost modeling, and financial impact assessment.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving abilities and managing supplier relationships.
• Demonstrated project management skills with cross-functional teams and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency with the Priority ERP system, including report building and data analysis
• Proficiency in Excel and other analytical/reporting tools
