Bar Back

Essential duties of a Bar Back include stocking and maintaining the bar facility, assisting bartenders, and providing excellent customer and employee service. Additionally, the Bar Back will set up bars, sort bottles and cardboard for recycling, and maintain bar cleanliness.

Requirements

• Properly stock and maintain the bar facility with necessary supplies
• Assist bartenders with replenishing supplies as necessary
• Comply with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls, and government rules and regulations
• Provide outstanding customer and employee service at all times
• Set up bars for operation; cuts fruit; stocks ice; empties garbage
• Maintain par levels and orders bar supplies; delivers orders
• Sort bottles and corrugated cardboard for recycling
• Maintain bar cleanliness in accordance with health department standards
• Assist cocktail servers with clearing glassware and clutter from tables
• Communicate politely and display courtesy to guests and internal customers
• Must present a neat and clean appearance at all times
• Attend and participates in daily briefings, training sessions and other meetings as scheduled
• Perform other duties as assigned
