Job Description
EARTHRES, a division of RESPEC, is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to support projects in energy, wastewater, mining, and industrial fields. The role involves evaluating, selecting, and applying engineering techniques, planning projects, and providing technical guidance. The candidate should be self-motivated and able to take on new tasks, contribute to team discussions and offer suggestions to solve problems.
Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
- 8+ years of related experience
- Emphasis on energy or industrial projects, including piping and equipment design
- West Virginia or Pennsylvania PE license a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Self-motivation, energetic, and able to take on new tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Detailed orientation and organization with ability to meet deadlines
- Strong problem solving skills
- Experience with 3D and 2-D mechanical drafting is a plus
