Requirements

• Develops and executes supplier and commodity strategies to support plant procurement and manufacturing operations
• Collaborates with internal customers to develop business requirements and improve processes
• Reviews bids and negotiates contracts for best possible price, quality, and delivery date
• Processes material and service requisitions in a timely manner to prevent downtime and ensure un-interrupted supply
• Validates and verifies conformity to specifications of materials and services
• Resolves payment issues
• Monitors inventory levels in the maintenance stores center, adjusts reorder points, and reorders quantities as needed
