RFA Engineering is seeking an entry-level candidate to become an integral part of our team as an Assembly Technician I. The selected candidate will work with an experienced engineering staff using state-of-the-art engineering tools & processes. This is a full-time position with a full benefit package and opportunities for professional growth.
Requirements
- Assemble electrical harnesses according to engineering specifications and blueprints
- Use standard assembly tools and machines
- Interpret sketches, notes, and other input from engineers
- Ability to read and interpret detailed harnessing prints including Bill of Material (BOM)
- Ability to run testing software and troubleshoot
- Work closely with engineers, designers and other team members to understand project requirements and design intent
- Communicate effectively to clarify design details and resolve any discrepancies on the provided client information
- Ability to document and report discrepancies on harnessing prints
- Computer skills to develop documentation and prints
- Create and review of assembly instructions and testing software
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
