Psychologist (ADOS-2 / ADI-R) - Huddersfield

We are seeking a Psychologist (ADOS-2 / ADI-R) to join our team in Huddersfield. As a Psychologist, you will conduct comprehensive specialist assessments, including diagnostic assessments of individuals with suspected autism and/or ADHD. You will also be responsible for writing up assessment reports and providing recommendations and interventions. This is a hybrid role, requiring 1-2 days of in-person work per week.

Requirements

• HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Experience in conducting diagnostic neurodevelopmental/specialist developmental assessments with children and young people
• Experience working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders or mental health difficulties in a clinical setting
• Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and appropriate assessment tools for autism and ADHD
• Knowledge of differential diagnosis
• ADOS-2 / ADI-R training ideal
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Experience in report writing and record keeping
