Speech & Language Therapist (ADOS-2 / ADI-R) - Newcastle

We are seeking a Speech & Language Therapist to join our Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team in Newcastle. The role involves conducting specialist diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD, producing professional assessment reports, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist
• Relevant Degree
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Proven experience conducting diagnostic neurodevelopmental or specialist developmental assessments with children and young people
• Clinical experience working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders or mental health challenges
• Strong knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and relevant assessment tools for autism and ADHD
• Understanding of differential diagnosis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
