Senior Data Engineer

Rho is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their data and analytics team, contributing to the build and scale of their commercial banking technology. The role involves establishing and maintaining data infrastructure, designing data pipelines, and ensuring high data integrity to support business problems. This is a hybrid, in-office position requiring collaboration with business intelligence and analysts.

Requirements

• Establish and maintain core data infrastructure and data platform framework.
• Design, maintain and build data warehouse, pipelines and infrastructure to scale with our growth.
• Conduct QA, monitoring and incident handling across data pipelines.
• Work with stakeholders to correct issues with current production data models and introduce revisions to improve models.
• Help with the establishment of a full-fledged data warehouse.
• Proficiency with workflow orchestrators such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
• Experienced with major data warehouse platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or in-house HDFS-based solutions with query engine support.
• Skilled in building data infrastructure using GCP, AWS, or comparable cloud providers.
• Competent in managing and deploying services on Kubernetes.
• Hands-on knowledge of Terraform or Pulumi for infrastructure automation.
• Advanced programming abilities in Python, Go, or Java, along with strong SQL skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative mindset.
