General Manager, Germany, Switzerland, Austria

Rhythm is a global biopharmaceutical company seeking a General Manager to lead strategy and operations across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria (GSA). This pivotal role reports to the EVP, Head of International, and is responsible for driving business success, aligning with global objectives, and adapting to local market dynamics. The General Manager will have full P&L accountability and oversee local launch plans, reimbursement strategies, and relationship building with key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Relevant academic degree in life sciences, business, or a related field
• Minimum of 12+ years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
• At least 3 years as a country/business lead in Germany with a proven track record of success
• Strong history of successful market access (price and reimbursement) negotiations in the GSA region
• Experience in leading and executing successful product launches in complex healthcare environments
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders, payors, policymakers, agencies, external experts and patient associations
• Excellent communication and presentation skills - fluent in local language for the market and in verbal and written English
• Commercial acumen and financially savvy
• High ethical standards
