Job Description
This SOC Analyst role within RFA's Security Operations Center monitors and analyzes security data from various sources (SIEM, EDR, endpoint EDR) to detect malicious activity and recommend actions to contain incidents. The analyst supports infrastructure management, collaborates with the team, and ensures security-related inquiries are addressed. They independently follow established procedures and log security events.
Requirements
- Working shift: 6pm - 3:30am PHT - Sunday - Thursday
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of experience
- 1+ years' experience as a Security/Network Administrator or equivalent knowledge
- Knowledge of various security methodologies and processes, and technical security solutions (firewall and intrusion detection systems).
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work independently
- Knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols, network analysis, and network/security applications
- Knowledge of common Internet protocols and applications
- Security+ or InfoSec security certification preferred
