Job Description
Richmond National is seeking a motivated Claims Examiner to join their Claims team. The role involves investigating, evaluating, and settling commercial liability claims, requiring a deep understanding of commercial insurance policies and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience and be proficient in letter writing and negotiation.
Requirements
- Review and analyze coverage, liability and damages
- Write both coverage and liability position letters
- Conduct interviews with claimants and witnesses
- Hire and manage outside vendors
- Prepare detailed claim reports
- Negotiate settlements
- Maintain accurate records
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
