Job Description
Ridgeline is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to help build and evolve their portfolio of platforms, including Market Data, Security Master, and Investment Management platforms. The role involves designing and evolving backend systems, building scalable applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance platform capabilities. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader passionate about financial markets and capable of solving complex data challenges.
Requirements
- 12+ years in software engineering with demonstrated technical leadership
- 3+ years in staff-level or higher roles guiding architecture and mentoring teams
- Experience building and deploying systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong understanding of CQRS, event-driven design, and data modeling for transactional and analytical workloads
- Hands-on experience with on-call rotations, instrumentation, and observability practices
- Willingness to learn and develop expertise in a new business domain
- Clear, confident communication skills with both technical and non-technical partners
