Job Description
Rightpoint, a Genpact company, is seeking a Lead/Senior Shopify Developer to design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify themes and apps. The role involves collaborating with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and troubleshooting website issues. Rightpoint focuses on creating experiences that transform how businesses interact with technology.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Shopify’s Liquid templating language.
- Proven experience as a Shopify Developer (5+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with Shopify Plus (preferred, not mandatory).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party app integrations.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and site performance optimization.
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git).
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with headless commerce using Shopify (e.g., Hydrogen/Storefront API).
- Familiarity with React, Node.js, or similar frameworks.
